Power Tots, Inc. has moved their office location to partner and share space with GroovYoga Dharma Center, a new yoga studio in downtown La Plata. GroovYoga is a new business venture that was recently opened by Kathi Donnelly, founder of Power Tots, Inc. ?Although we have only moved our physical office and still are a traveling company, we hope that this move spurs a great change for both businesses,? says Power Tots Director Kelly Sorenson. Donnelly adds, ?The philosophy behind each business complements each other wonderfully, so it really is a perfect fit.?

GroovYoga Dharma Center offers a variety of classes and currently offers a summer camp for girls ages 5-18. With the new shared studio space, Power Tots, Inc. hopes to be able to offer classes for the 2-5 age range in yoga and gymnastics and possibly a new type of class for the company, a combined mother and baby yoga class. Power Tots, Inc. is a company that specializes in traveling to locations where children are gathered and instructing classes at that location providing all equipment and administrative duties. Most of the company?s clients are in the Washington, DC and Northern Virginia area, but with the new space in La Plata, they hope to be able to reach more of the local community where the business is based and where the founder and director have grown up. ?We used to have our program in many Southern Maryland centers, however, due to different circumstances, we haven?t been represented as much as we?d like in our hometown area. If we are able to provide classes here in La Plata, then maybe we can reach more of our local children and make a larger impact on our immediate community. Our philosophy of ?Believe in the Power of a Positive Attitude? is something that every child can benefit from, and every child deserves a positive environment to find their potential physically and mentally through gymnastics and yoga.?
